If you are a busy person like most people during the holidays, the last thing you want to do is stand in front of a card display trying to figure out the best ones to send to family and friends.  A better option is to use one of the many websites to create your own that you can mail or email – all from the comfort of your living room.

The Best Holiday e-Card Sites

Shutterfly

You can choose one of the beautiful photo designs on Shutterfly to create the perfect card for only $2 or an additional $.55 for mailing.

Paperless Post

This site allows you to create fantastic e-cards with stationery, envelopes, and the simulation of being able to open a real card.  You can even add your on photos or logo in addition to the ones offered on the site.  You can even find a few free designs to send.  However, the cost is reasonable if you want more design options and can range from $0.07 to $0.20 for each one.  A new feature of the site this year is that they offer paper cards that you can send, too.  You can buy one card or a box, but you have to send them directly to the recipient since they don’t offer that option.

Pingg

This site features classic designs by well-known names like Martha Stewart.  You can send free cards, but the person who views them will have to watch an ad.  However, you can send up to 250 cards for free.  This is another site that allows you to send print cards.  They will mail them for you for $2.50 plus postage.  If you send cards throughout the year, you can upgrade to a paid monthly plan for $10 per month.  This option gives you 2500 cards with no ads.

The websites make sending cards to family and friends much easier and takes one thing off your long holiday list.
