Who Will Be The Next Steve Jobs?

A visionary like Steve Jobs doesn’t come along every day. In fact, you could say he comes along once in a lifetime. However, that doesn’t mean that someone else won’t step to do what he did and create more than just a winning company. He created an intricate part of our culture with Apple, a company that set the standard on how things should be done. Do we have anyone else like that today?

Jeff Bezos

The founder and CEO of Amazon hasn’t gotten as much attention as Jobs, but his fans say he can fit the label. He wrote the business plan for Amazon on a drive from New York to Seattle and started the company in his garage after leaving a good job.

Bezos is also a likeable person who can explain advanced technology in a way that the average person can understand. He was the one who introduced the Kindle e-reader even before the iPad and brought reading to a whole new group of people.

Mark Zuckerberg

Another name that gets put into the innovator category is the founder of Facebook. Like Jobs, he dropped out of college and then went on to found a company that has revolutionized the world. Facebook just celebrated its 1 billion members, showing that his revolutionary idea has changed the way we look at the internet and social media.

To be able to categorize Zuckerberg as the future Steve Jobs is difficult to do. The man we knew at the height of his success with Apple was different than the man from 20 years ago. So, who knows what kind of man Zuckerberg will be in the next 20 years?

Sergey Brin

One cannot think about future visionaries with considering the co-founder of Google. After all, who else has been leading the way other than Google? It controls the Internet as the largest search engine. People struggle and study to figure out how to make Google happy with their websites.

And then you hear about Google Glass, the astounding computer that is a pair of glasses. Isn’t that comparable to the iPhone, iPad, and other Apple technology? Someday wearing your computer on your face may be commonplace, but today it is revolutionary.

Brin is the leader of Google X Lab, the facility that provides the research into new technology. It has also brought about driverless cars into the testing phase.

Bezos and Zuckerberg have proven to look far beyond the box and create something that had never been heard of, something no one knew they needed, and turned it into something everyone had to have. While Brin is still creating his masterpiece, it’s destined to be something amazing.
