Would you like to watch your online videos on a large TV screen instead of a small computer monitor? This can be easily achieved with PLAir, a new user-friendly product designed to simplify video streaming.

The device is very easy to use and allows online video streaming to your TV either from your computer or a mobile device. It is equipped with a 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and Wi-Fi capability, thus allowing PLAir users to stream their content without needing a connected TV or some complicated app.

PLAir: Easier Internet-to-TV Video Streaming

PLAir can be plugged into any TV set’s HDMI port and then be connected to your computer through a special plug-in for Chrome. Mobile or tablet users can connect to the device through native iOS and Android applications. After the connection is made successfully, viewers will be able to watch any online video content or video files stored locally in 1080p resolution.

Besides ease of use, PLAir is different from other similar devices in that it only streams the video content, it does not display your entire computer monitor on the TV screen. On your PC, you will be able to access a landing page provided by PLAir, which will allow you to find all of your favorite shows through one interface. If you’re using a mobile device, the native apps will provide you with a very wide selection of free video content you can stream to your TV.

The device fully supports HTML5, which means that you will be able to watch almost any online video on your TV screen.

PLAir was first unveiled at CES earlier this year and is now available for purchase for a retail price of $99 in the United States. It is available in three colors: Aqua, Raven or Passion. The manufacturer is currently taking orders for the device, as the first run was limited. PLAir expects to be able to start shipping the gizmo to major retailers very soon.
