Man Recreates Jurassic Park Explorer

Jurassic Park has to be one of the all time classics in film history. Everyone can remember the famous scene where the water “ripples” in the glass as the anticipated arrival of the T-Rex edges ever closer. One guy clearly loves the film so much that he has actually converted a Ford Explorer into his very own Jurassic Park vehicle.

Built by the Redditor scoodidabop, not only is the Explorer an exact replica from the outside but inside is pretty incredible too. As well as the iconic water glasses placed on the dashboard (just in case the old T-Rex decides to put in an appearance), there are also video maps of the dinosaur safari park displayed on retro CRTs and of course the case in the rear of the vehicle, that in the film contained the flashlight that caused so much trouble.

The first time I ever watched Jurassic Park as a kid, I remember being absolutely fascinated by the “high-tech” cars. Although vehicles have seen huge advancements since the film was made, I’m still waiting for them to dig up that “dino DNA”!
