Apple made a big step by adding the iPhone 6 Plus into the range of smartphones, instead of having the flagship and a lower-end... First Reviews Claim Two Days Battery Life With iPhone 6 Plus‏

Apple made a big step by adding the iPhone 6 Plus into the range of smartphones, instead of having the flagship and a lower-end iPhone 5C like last year, Cupertino decided the market needed a high-end phablet.

How they differentiate the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, for the extra $100, is interesting. Apple added a higher-quality display at 1920 x 1080, to the 1334 x 750 on the iPhone 6, along with a larger battery and OIS camera support.

All three of these changes may facilitate the $100 extra for the iPhone 6 Plus and push users to acquire the larger phone, on the premise of a much better display, longer than 1 day battery life and a huge camera upgrade with optical image stabilisation.

Looking at all the reviews, it is clear to see most of the “reviewers” have been swept by the iPhone 6 Plus, despite the Galaxy Note being on the market for a good few years, shoved to the side as an unwieldy phablet that cannot be held in the same reviewers small hands.

It is quick how opinions change, but this is not the time to talk about some journalists and their fickle opinions, depending on brand loyalty. In almost all cases, we should take the general consensus as “fact”, and most reviewers are saying the iPhone 6 Plus has killer battery life.

That means a good two days of usage, before needing to charge. Now, compare this with the iPhone 6, which gets a good full day or the HTC One M8 with around eight hours, and you will not be wrong for thinking the iPhone 6 Plus is obviously the supreme product on the market.

This might be the case, but before you go out and acquire the iPhone 6 Plus based purely on two days battery life, we suggest you check out the Galaxy Note 4, Xperia Z2, LG G3 and even the Nokia Lumia 1520, all phones that deserved to be looked at, if judged on nothing more than battery life.
