Google & Microsoft Team Up With Code.org

The campaign, according to Code.org, is the largest non-profit crowdfunding project on the Indiegogo platform. The companies that are involved, along with individuals, such as Bill Gates, will help out by matching each donation on the campaign dollar-for-dollar.

Code.org currently offers free online learning courses to help increase participation in computer science. Hadi Partovi and Ali Partov founded the firm last year and the organization hopes to raise the $5 million by the end of on Dec. 14 (Computer Science Week) and reach their total of 100 million students by the end of this year.
