iPhone Panel Press Claims to Fix Your Bent iPhone 6!

As most all of us know by now, Apple has had quite a few problems with the iPhone 6, the least of which not being what the online world dubbed “#bendgate”, referring to the iPhone 6 Plus’s tendency to bend while resting in user’s pockets. (Whether you believe them or not, Apple claims only 9 people have made official complaints about their phones bending). Whether it’s only happened to 9 people or not, it’s still a big deal to a lot of people, and it’s still causing Apple to be the butt of a lot of jokes. And honestly, they probably deserve some of the jokes – after all, your phone isn’t supposed to bend in your pocket, no matter what kind of jeans you might wear. If you do have an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus that’s bent, though, gTool has created an iPhone Panel Press that’s supposed to get it bent back in shape.

It looks pretty simple to use after watching the video tutorial. The hardest part is probably taking the front glass off the the phone. After you do that, though, you just insert the phone upside down into the press, turn the knobs, and your bent iPhone 6 will straighten back to normal in no time at all. (At least that’s how it’s supposed to work).

The iPhone Panel Press doesn’t come cheap. Etechparts has it on sale at the moment for $299. Not cheap, but definitely not the price of a new phone. Hopefully, though, if the bending is truly the fault of Apple, you won’t have to pay a dime out of your own pocket to have it repaired.
