Lego Batman Gets His Own Movie!

Like many of you, I’m guessing, I watched the Lego Movie when it came out. And I thought it was awesome for the most part. I definitely laughed more than I thought I would, and overall I really enjoyed it. But you know what I really loved about the movie? Or, maybe I should ask, do you know who I really loved in the movie? Lego Batman. He made the whole movie for me. It seemed like every time he was on the screen (which wasn’t enough) I was laughing my head off. And when he said “I’m Batman,” in his Christian Bale voice, it was perfect. Arguably, Lego Batman was the best character in the whole movie, and that’s why he’s getting his own Lego movie in the future.

I really wanted Superman to play more of an impact in the movie, but he didn’t, and compared to Batman, I thought he was next to useless. That’s okay, though – Lego Batman more than made up for his lack of a “super” performance.

“I’m Batman”…

The as-yet untitled Lego Batman movie is slated to come out sometime in 2017, and Will Arnett is expected to again bring the voice to the plastic Dark Knight.
