I have to admit that I’m really enjoying my Amazon Prime and its free 2-day shipping perk. I’ve also been getting into Prime Music as well as all of the free television shows and movies available at no extra cost. Before I know it, I’ll probably also upload all of my photos into the cloud for free. And while I sit here enjoying my free 2-day shipping on tons of items, some Amazon Prime members in Manhattan are enjoying a new service Amazon has dubbed “Prime Now“. The perk of Now? You can order from thousands of items and have them delivered to your door in one or two hour’s time. (A two-hour drop-off is free, while one in under an hour will cost you $7.99).

In order to use the service, Prime members must first download the Prime Now app, as all orders are placed through the app. (Right now, though, only those located in Manhattan are able to take advantage of it; hopefully more and more cities will be added in the near future). Members can order goods every day of the week from 6:00 AM all the way up until midnight.

If you live in or around Manhattan and have been on the fence about getting an Amazon Prime membership, there’s probably not going to be much of a better time in the near future.
