If you happened to check for an iOS update today, you probably noticed that iOS 8.1.2 was available for download. It’s always an exciting time when a new update is released, with many hoping that any issues they had with their phones (or iPads) will finally be resolved. Well, a lot of Apple users were disappointed today, as no real known problems, except one, were fixed with this tiny update. What was fixed? It lets you get your iTunes ringtones back if they disappeared from your phone. Now there’s an update to get excited about. It said there was also “bug fixes”, but no one seems to know what, if any, other bugs were fixed with this seemingly needless update.

iOS 8.1.2 Angers Apple Users

And, with an approximate size of only 28.2MB, not a whole lot of things are even able to be fixed. Many Apple users were hoping they’d resolve known Wi-Fi issues, battery issues, Bluetooth problems, etc. Hopefully, the next update will deal with some or all of those issues.

Here’s to hoping! Were you annoyed with the update? Let us know in the comments section below!
