I may be getting older, but I can still vividly remember when I used Microsoft’s Clip Art feature for just about anything I was doing. If I needed a quick picture of something, I’d just type in what I was looking for in the search box, and after a few seconds it would give everything it found back to me. Honestly, the results were usually anything except what I was looking for, but it was fun to use nonetheless, and it’s been included as a part of just about every Microsoft Office bundle I can think of. As we all know by now, though, all good things must come to an end, and unfortunately, (or, fortunately depending on your opinion of it), Microsoft is giving Clip Art the axe. They’ve come to the realization that the program is fairly obsolete in today’s world, since most people just find whatever image they’re looking for through Google Images, or another similar image site.

In the future, when you need an image while you’re using Microsoft Office, you can still search for it, but it’ll now send you the results via Bing.
