Managing your media files, across all your devices, just got a whole lot easier and a whole lot more manageable, with TunesGo.

Traditionally anyone looking to manage all their music, video and media files across all their devices, from their laptop or their PC to their iPhone or Android device ends up either doing it all manually or opting for iTunes. But there is an alternative, and it’s quite good.

Wondershare’s TunesGo is a super easy to use one-stop solution that can manage it all for you. It’s a really good alternative for anyone looking to step away from iTunes, and use different software to manage any and all of their ‘i’ or Android devices. TunesGo is also available for both Windows and Mac so compatibility issues between different manufacturers isn’t an issue.

From music to contacts, messages to Apps, photos to movies, TunesGo can look after it all. It’s also fully compatible with the latest versions of iOS and Android.

The interface and ease of use

TunesGo looks good. That’s something that’s often overlooked when seeking alternatives to the likes of iTunes. TunesGo looks and feel similar regardless of what os you use it on.

It’s also extremely easy to use, a continuity feature that is prevalent across all Wondershare’s software. Similarly, in TunesGo, the learning curve is shallow, and the interface is intuitive and easy to grasp. It’s also feels really… uncluttered… which is also quite refreshing. I also couldn’t find any compatibility issues during my testing; using both a variety of Windows laptops, iphones and HTC Android phones.

What all that meant for me was that I could dive straight into the TunesGo software and was managing, syncing and transferring music and videos like a pro within 10 minutes.

iTunes. Do I still need it?

Well, yes, of course you do. But where TunesGo really shines is the fact that you can sync and transfer music, videos and photos from one device to the other without using iTunes.

For iPhone users with Windows laptops as well, a big bonus is the one-click backup. And if you feel like it, TunesGo also has a nifty Ringtone maker for the iPhone so you can make your own custom ringtones.

Managing your iTunes

As an alternative to iTunes management, TunesGo works well. As well as supporting songs and video in over 30 different formats, it can also ‘De-Duplicate’ music files and free up storage in one click or button push.

Two-way Synchronization: Totally worth the price of purchase on its own

It literally is, and this is something iTunes lacks the ability to do simply. iTunes is a one-way synchronization tool. It’s easy to transfer media ‘one way’ from your Mac or PC to your mobile devices, but it can get quite tricky and cumbersome to transfer your music back the other way, especially if you have iTunes on multiple devices or you share an account.

Wondershare TunesGo however, offers two-way synchronization from computer to devices, and back the other way from devices to computers. It’s the kind of feature you’d expect from iTunes, but that it just doesn’t have.

Conclusion

So, yes, you still need iTunes and iTunes is free. Of that there can be no argument. But installing TunesGo will make you stop using it except for when purchasing new music and videos. It also does a great job of managing all your image files as well.

While the full version of TunesGo does cost money, it is a one-off fee, and there is lifetime support for that cost, and free updates for life. If nothing else, Wondershare lets you install and trial the software for free. So, with all that said, you literally have nothing to lose by giving it a go. You can download the trial version here.
