CCleaner is one of the best system cleaners that is available.

CCleaner is one of the best system cleaners that is available.

To start off you need to open CCleaner.  You will see the application is divided into two panels; the left is displaying the Windows and Application tabs and the right is space to display information from the cleaning operation that you will undertake.  You will notice that nearly all of the checkboxes are ticked.  If you want to completely purge your system of all redundant files then you should check all of the rest of the checkboxes.  A warning will accompany some of these options and each one will explain what the option will affect.  Please be sure that you understand how each of these actions will affect your system-If you are unsure then uncheck!  If you choose to check the Wipe Free Space option, you will radically increase the amount of time that is required for cleaning.

It is also worthy to note that you should close all of your other programs prior to running the cleaning process.  Some temporary files will be associated with applications that you may currently have open.  If this happens during the cleaning scan, then you will be presented with a popup window informing you to close the program in question.

Next you should click the Analyze button.  The application will now proceed to scan your system for obsolete files and on completion you will be presented with the findings.  All you have to do now is click the Run Cleaner button. CCleaner will ask you if you are sure that you want to proceed in removing the files from your system-Click Yes.

You should now have successfully deleted the temporary files from both the Microsoft Windows operating system and your applications .  You can download CCleaner from FileHippo.com today
