Whether you love it or hate it, you can’t deny that the iPhone is insanely popular, especially right now. Heck, on its opening weekend just a few weeks ago, Apple sold somewhere in the realm of 10 million models of the newest iPhone(s). No surprise to anyone, that happened to be their best sales numbers ever for an opening weekend. Now, it seems they’re inching ever closer to selling 20 million of them You can read all about the sales breakdown numbers here.
While just about anyone would probably be happy with sales numbering in the millions, Apple is said to have a goal of selling between 70 and 80 million iPhone 6’s before the end of the year. Is it doable? Well, if they’ve already allegedly met a third of that number in less than a month, and there’s two-and-a-half months left in the year, I’d say it’s completely possible. We’ll just have to wait and see if a lot of people get the iPhone 6 as a Christmas gift.
Those Are Some Good Sales Numbers…
What do you think? Will they make 20 million by the end of the year? Will you be (or are you already) one of them? Do you see a day when the iPhone won’t be near as popular as it is today? Let us know your thoughts regarding this story in the comments section below.
