At FileHippo, we take software seriously. Very seriously. That’s why we work to bring you the greatest new programs, as well as all the up-to-date releases of your old favorites. Here’s a look at some of the programs that are new to the site this week:
Office 2013 Service Pack 1 – If you’re one of the lucky ones to jump on an Office 365 subscription, then good for you…you’re all set. But if you’re operating a PC with Office 2013, then there’s good news in the form of a Service Pack release. The SP1, according to the folks at Microsoft, gives you “greater stability, expanded functionality, security enhancements and improved compatibility with Windows 8.1,” among other things. If you’re running a Click-to-Run version of Office or if you’ve signed up for automatic updates, you should already be getting reminders to install. Otherwise, click HERE to grab this download from FileHippo.
Utilu Mozilla Firefox Collection – This one’s really cool. Put together by the folks at Utilu, this collection is just what it sounds like: a bunch of different stand alone versions of the free Mozilla web browser. Why would you want that? Well, if you’re a web developer, you’re bouncing in you chair right now at the thought of working several different Mozilla browsers at the same time. The included versions of the Gecko render engine can even show you how your pages will look in real time, while you’re still working on them. With fully customizeable installation and a host of other features, this is a really important addition to any coder’s toolbox. Download it HERE from FileHippo.
The rest of today’s new titles include:

- Gemini Groove DJ application that works with MP3s
- Google Chrome for Work – 32 and 64 bit web browser
