People can now happily browse the watchapp directory.  The watchapp directory allows Android users the ability to search, discover and install new software for their Pebble or Pebble Steel Smartwatch. Also there is a watchapp locker where previously downloaded apps can be browsed as well as alerts and notifications.   Pebble has also additionally announced there are 3 new app partners, online marketplace, eBay, Movie giant, Time Warner Cable and cross platform note and file sync app, Evernote.

The eBay shopping app will give Pebble users the ability to view eBay Feeds, product images and prices and also allow them to see other information, directly from their watchface.  What is really quite cool is that you can then add them to a ‘WatchList’ for later bidding.

The version of Evernote is a slimmed-down one of its mobile note-taking app, with quick access to checklists, notebooks and reminders.

The Time Warner Cable app allows ‘Intelligent Home’ customers the ability to adjust their home thermostats, the lights and their energy use settings, all being controlled from their Pebble Smartwatch.

The Pebble app is available to download on the Google Play Store and the App Store.
