You are going to have to wait a little longer to get your hands on a Google I/O ticket this year, after Google announced... Google Delays I/O Registration; The System is Not Ready!

You are going to have to wait a little longer to get your hands on a Google I/O ticket this year, after Google announced that is holding off I/O registration for another week.

The date has been rescheduled from 8th April to the 15th April. Why? you may ask – quite simply, the system isn’t ready yet.

Google I/O

On the Developers G+ page, the company explains:

“We’re still working to make the registration process even easier for you, and it will now be open four days starting next week (opening next Tuesday and closing Friday).”

As well as the registration date, Google has also changed the length of the registration window; from three days to four.

When registration does open, you don’t need to worry about being the first as the plan is to sell the tickets to randomly selected applicants. Seeing as there has been a day added to the registration window, it will no doubt narrow everyone’s chances of getting their hands on the coveted tickets.
