Philips Develops Wireless TENS Machine & BlueTouch LED Pain Reliever

Not only have Philips developed PulseRelief, but they will also be releasing a gadget called the BlueTouch.  This is specifically designed to battle muscular back pain in particular. The device uses, instead of electrical stimulation, blue LED light.  This is supposed to encourage the body to release nitric oxide that will increase blood flow and thereby help the body recover naturally, without the need for any medications.

Both of these new devices are all set to be made available over the coming months, but any specific pricing structure has yet to be announced. The accompanying apps for these gadgets are iOS-only for the time being. With the release of iOS8 and the new iPhones, it makes sense to push the applications on that particular platform first, as the flurry of activity over Apple’s new products may give Philips the edge over any competitors’ products.
