Microsoft’s Windows 10 event is upon us and we will finally get to see what the company has planned for the future of its operating system. This could be a pivotal moment for Microsoft; most new PCs now run Windows 8 but it is surprising how many people never upgraded from Windows 7. Whether Windows 10 will be a success or not, will largely depend on whether everyone finds something to like. Microsoft has said that it’s event tomorrow will “talk about the next chapter of Windows 10” but until then, here is a round-up of rumors and what we know so far.

New Web Browser- Spartan

Microsoft is reportedly working on a replacement to its ageing browser, Internet Explorer. Windows 10 is said to come with both Internet Explorer and the new browser, code named Spartan. Spartan is light-weight, will work on multiple platforms and will likely feature the same Metro user interface that Microsoft has been employing for a while now.
