Nokia has somehow managed to hang on to dear life, thanks to the high end phones that it has been churning out. While many of the people in my circle would never think about getting a Windows phone, there is still a market for such a device. And, if you’re one of them, you might have been waiting to hear about the details for the rather hyped Nokia 909 (which has been called by other names).
Well, wait no more, as a Nokia 909 image has been leaked! Thanks to evleaks, the Nokia slash Windows phone-loving world now has an idea what the new Nokia phone looks like.
One can hardly miss the huge icons highlighting the phone features, Xbox (music + videos) and the Nokia Pro Cam. From the looks of it, the Nokia 909 image leaked shows that the device will be going with AT&T, so it sucks to be you if you’re affiliated with another telecom carrier.
What’s more interesting, especially if you are one of those (us) who have ditched compact cameras to rely mainly on the phone camera, is the rumor that the Nokia 909 is going to have a 41-megapixel PureView camera
. That specification is mind-blowing, there is no doubt about it, but I maintain my position that it’s superfluous. Why would anyone want such a high resolution on a camera phone when the chances are that you mainly upload your photos online for sharing? The photos will be compressed anyway!
In any case, other specs of the Nokia 909 include:
- 41 MP camera with Xenon flash
- Nokia Pro Camera
- 32 GB internal
- OLED Screen 768X1280
- WP8 V 8.0.10322.71
- FM radio
- Flip to silence
- Polycarbonate body
- Takes a 35 MP picture and a 5 MP picture at the same time one to save one to share
- Comes in yellow
- No SD card
- About 1 mm thinner than Lumia 920 with a big camera hump
- No visible OS changes
Another Nokia 909 image leaked by the same source shows the back.
