Who Needs Photoshop? These Pics Prove Timing Is Everything!

In the day of Photoshop–not to point fingers and even suggest that the graphic artists who manipulate digital images into stunning pictures are not artists–it’s easy to forget that once upon a time, you had to have a good camera, a great eye for visuals, and a serious amount of luck to get the perfect shot. These pictures, all done with a camera and not superimposed after the fact, prove that taking the right perfectly timed photo is an art form.

I seriously read a parenting book once that suggested you could keep down on the mess of ice cream cones by just giving your kids an empty cone (because they're too stupid to know the difference between ice cream and no ice cream?). In this case, though, the empty cone result was a brilliant image.
