There are now all kinds of television shows on the air I never thought I’d see, such as: Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo, Toddlers and Tiaras, Teen Mom, and my personal favorite, Dance Moms. It seems just about anything counts as entertainment, and proving my point, a new show documenting the making of the hugely-popular Grand Theft Auto video game(s) is set to debut on BBC Two sometime in the future. The show will apparently be a 90-minute drama made to inspire people (especially younger folks) to get interested in coding, and will be part of the BBC’s Make it Digital campaign.
I wonder what the original Grand Theft Auto brainstorming session looked like. “Hey, I’ve got a great idea! Let’s make a game where people can steal cars and kill as many people as they want!” We’ll all have to wait and see how the events actually transpired, but something tells me I might not be too far off. I joke, but I know tons of people put in an incredible amount of work to make a successful video game, so their handwork should be commended as it’s no easy feat. It’s unknown exactly when the show will be airing, or more exact details about the production, but keep your eyes open.
