Fans of the game just got their first look at the new âStar Warsâ edition of Angry Birds. They only get to see 50 seconds of footage, but it gives them an idea of what to expect (check out the footage below). This video game is sure to bring in more fans of both the classic and the modern classic as Angry Birds face challenges in another world.
 The Video
Luke is the red bird and Leia is the pink one of course, and Luke is showing off his saber skills to look impressive. However, this doesn’t seem to be working when Leia yawns. Then it moves into another scene and shows the red bird using the lightsaber to slice through wooden structures. Much more impressive!
Leia attacks an AT-AT Walking with red bullets; she has superpowers that enable her to have a magnetic-like pull with her lightsaber, which causes the AT-AT Walker to crash.
The Concept
Angry Birds Star Wars Edition will be available for the public on November 8th. Fans of either the game or the classic science fiction story will be excited to see what the combination brings.
Rovio Entertainment and Lucasfilm Ltd. combined their efforts to create a unique combination in the video games. The Angry Birds are the stars of the show as characters from the film, while the storyline is classic Star Wars, along with the settings.
Rovio CMO Peter Vestrebacka told fans in a statement that this is the best Angry Birds game yet.
The powers of the different birds will be in keeping with their role in the movie. There will also be classic scenes that Star Wars fans will recognize; however, the game will stay true to Angry Birds, too.
The combination of the two elements will attract a new audience to the game. Star Wars fans will want to see what the game looks like while those who already love Angry Birds will be introduced to the classic movie. This could draw in a bigger crowd for both partners.
Angry Birds Star Wars will be able to work on almost any device, including Android, Amazon Kindle Fire, Windows Phone, Mac, PC, and Windows 8.
