Marty McFly’s Power Laces Are Coming in 2015

If you watched Back To The Future Part 2, (and let’s be honest, who didn’t watch it?) you’ll remember Marty McFly’s shoes. You remember them because they were all kinds of awesome – they laced themselves up without Marty having to do anything! And, if you’re anything like me, you immediately wanted a pair as soon as you watched that scene. Unfortunately, for you, me, and everyone else, they weren’t available on the market yet.

That’s all changing, though. Beginning in 2015, Nike states that shoes with power laces will be available for all of us to buy. This could be one of the greatest inventions of our time.

It’s About Time!

If you remember everything that happened in the classic movie, Marty travelled forward in the future to the year 2015 – and that’s when he found his Nike shoes with the power laces. And what year is Nike finally unveiling the shoes? That’s right – 2015. Whether this is just a coincidence on Nike’s part or they meant to do it all along, it’s still noteworthy.

Here’s my only question – since Nike’s shoes with power laces are being released, when in the future is the hover board finally going to be released? Besides the time-traveling Delorean and the shoes, the hover board has got to be the thing that Back To The Future fans want most.

It isn’t known at this time exactly how much Nike’s shoes with power laces are going to cost, but is there too high of a price to pay when it comes to owning such iconic foot-ware? Just imagine never having to tie your shoes again. Also, I think it’s safe to say that letting your shoes lace themselves up is a feat that will never get old, no matter how many times we experience it.
