The TechBeat Windows 10 Rumor Round-Up

Microsoft’s Windows 10 event is upon us and we will finally get to see what the company has planned for the future of its operating system. This could be a pivotal moment for Microsoft; most new PCs now run Windows 8 but it is surprising how many people never upgraded from Windows 7. Whether Windows 10 will be a success or not, will largely depend on whether everyone finds something to like. Microsoft has said that it’s event tomorrow will “talk about the next chapter of Windows 10” but until then, here is a round-up of rumors and what we know so far.

So it doesn't look as though we are going to see an April release as previously hoped, however Windows 10 is expected to arrive later this year. Hopefully we'll find out more at the event on January 21st.
