Order Dominos Pizza From Your Smartwatch

Dominos has launched a new app for Android Wear and Pebble smartwatches, allowing users to order pizza on the fly and check to see the delivery process.
Using the familiar Dominos Tracker tool, users will be able to order a pizza and see which of the five steps the delivery is currently on, giving a good time window for when the pizza should be delivered.
“Pairing Domino’s with smartwatch technology couldn’t be more of a natural fit,” said Kevin Vasconi, Domino’s Pizza chief information officer, in a press release. “We are constantly looking for ways to use technology to enhance our customers’ experience and provide them with more convenience. We pride ourselves on having a variety of online ordering options for customers to choose from.”
Dominos has rapidly ported its online menu to almost every platform available, making sure all customers are only a download away from pizza delivery.
It is part of a revamped strategy a few years ago by Dominos to start offering more customisation and online delivery options, focusing on mobile orders and offering a way for customers to view where the pizza was through a tracking tool.
Pizza Hut – Dominos’ main rival – is only just coming to terms with the fact it lacks online orders, a big reason for the loss of revenue for Pizza Hut over the past decade.
It announced a huge revamp on its pizza customisation and claims to be focused on offering larger windows for delivery, even if a local store is a few miles away.
