The long rumoured Samsung Black Editions of the Galaxy S4 mini and the Galaxy S4 have now at long last, become a reality. Samsung announced the device on Friday last week. The devices are now available in select global markets.
The Galaxy S4 mini and Galaxy S4Â Black Editions are the same devices that you are used to such as a full HD Super AMOLED display that shows images at their most crystal clear on a 5-inch screen with 441ppi. The S4 device has a powerful rear 13MP camera. The S4 also boasts a Dual Camera function that allows simultaneous use of both front and rear cameras and this is such a nice feature.
The Galaxy S4 mini still has a 4.3” qHD Super AMOLED display, 107g light weight and compact design. Although compact, the Galaxy S4 mini also boasts some powerful performance as it is equipped with a 1.7GHz dual core processor that allows users to quickly and easily perform any data intensive task.
These new look S4 and S4 mini smartphones have some added panache though. These devices have a high-quality leather-like black back cover, which actually resembles the rear of the Galaxy Note 3. The devices will also ship with black accessories, including the charger, a data cable and some headphones.
There has not been any pricing structure information released by Samsung as yet, but you could see the Black Edition costing a tad more than the plastic version S4. These new editions are the latest in Samsung’s effort to build on its commitment to deliver pioneering technologies with more quality design choices to their customers.
Both the Galaxy S4 mini and Galaxy S4 Black Editions have a high-quality leather-like textured black back cover and the bezel. This distinct and refined design provides consumers with a stylish Galaxy experience. In addition, Black Edition devices also come preloaded with a suite of eight dedicated wallpapers for both the home and lock screens as well as several exclusive new ringtones. The Galaxy S4 mini and Galaxy S4 Black Editions are sold in shiny black packaging, which is complete with the set of the aforementioned black accessories.
