A couple of weeks ago, Techbeat reported that Microsoft was getting into the Christmas spirit by dropping the price on their latest video game console, the Xbox One. Up until lately, Sony had been outselling Microsoft in the console war, but that is no longer the case thanks to Microsoft’s holiday pricing decision.
Their idea was pretty simple – they decided they’d cut $50 off of the price for either one of their Xbox One consoles. So, that means the Kinect-less version can be picked up for $349, while the fully-equipped console with the Kinect can be purchased for $449. It turns out it was a really good move as their sales have tripled over the past couple of weeks.
I said it in the last post regarding this topic, and I’ll repeat myself here: there is no better time to buy an Xbox One than right now. So, if you’ve been wanting one and waiting for a good price, there’s probably not going to be a much better one unless Santa decides to leave one under your Christmas tree for Christmas morning.
