Undoubtedly, the F1 series is a masterpiece of coding. The games are up to the minute with detailed information about tracks, drivers and importantly the cars themselves. In F1 2014 the cars had a new handling model and the visuals were a sharp upgrade on the previous year’s game, (the cars were anyway). So, it comes as no surprise to learn that Codemasters have been feverishly busy designing the 2015 version of the game. If you love F1, then there is good news for you,  as Codemasters have confirmed when the F1 2015 is going to arrive.

Codemasters have confirmed the F1 2015 release date as July 12th and have also said that the title will be available for PC gamers as well. Interestingly, this release will be the first time that an F1 title is available on both the PS4 and the Xbox One.

If you own a PS4 then you may have been able to play F1 2013 via the PlayStation Now game streaming service. This is not the case globally, however,  as the streaming service is only available in selected markets.

There was a leaked  presentation a few weeks ago that confirmed that Codemasters would be releasing a new title in this series, but at the time the developers didn’t reveal many details about the new title.

Now we know that F1 2015 is powered by an all new engine and the title It comes with the new championship season and new pro season modes. The 2014 FIA Formula One World Championship will be available to play also. In this latest version of the series you will notice improved handling in physics around all aspects of the car. Hopefully we will see a video game play trailer released soon, like we did for F1 2014:

If you are going to play this on a PS4 or Xbox One, then you are in for another treat as F1 2015 also includes voice integration with the PlayStation Camera and the Kinect. You will be able to ask questions about race information, weather, and when you need a pit stop, you can request a tyre change.

Codemasters are releasing F1 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on June 12th, 2015.
