I am all kinds of excited for the upcoming Batman v. Superman movie. I know almost next to nothing about it, thanks to the cast and crew doing everything they can to keep mum about it, but I do know a few things as director Zack Snyder has released some preview images from the film – from Batman’s suit, to Superman’s suit, to a picture of Wonder Woman – and then of all things, he also released a picture of Aquaman who no one really knew was going to be featured in the movie at all. Keeping in tradition with his other photo releases, he’s released (through Entertainment Weekly) an image of the film’s (supposed) bad guy, Lex Luthor, who’s being played by Jesse Eisenberg. He looks a little like the Lex from Smallville, only slightly more mean and menacing. Take a look below.
Snyder had this to say about his version of Luthor:
“He’s not any of the Lexes that you’ve seen, that’s for sure…other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course… Our Lex is disarming and he’s not fake… He says what he believes and he says what’s on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it’s all there.”
Well, he’s got me hooked. What about you? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
