HoloLens
Microsoft's HoloLens was the big unexpected news that will no doubt have everyone talking for a while. Basically it is a headset, that will one day, project its operating system over what you see in real, everyday life. It will supersede Google Glass and any other existing virtual eyewear already on the market. But what's really special about HoloLens is that it doesn't need to be paired with any other device in order to work. For any skeptics out there, NASA will be using Microsoft's new prototype technology in order to control its Mars' Rovers, as soon as July. At the event, Microsoft gave demos to demonstrate how the HoloLens could be used in everyday life, showing a woman creating a drone model, shaping it using her hands and via voice commands.
