Check Out These Jedi Squirrels With Lightsabers

Remember how I’ve said many times I can’t wait to see all the different things people are coming out with thanks to the upcoming new Star Wars film(s). Well, we’ve seen some pretty neat gizmos in the past few months, including the Millennium Falcon drone, the Tie Interceptor drone, and the pancake printer that made pancakes from a galaxy far, far away. While all of those creations were awesome in their own right, they don’t hold a candle to what I came across online today: lightsaber-wielding Jedi squirrels. No, your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you; that last sentence really did combine Jedi, squirrels, and lightsabers in a creation I think even George Lucas would admire.

What you see in the above photo are two dead squirrels posed and mounted by a taxidermist. But they’re not just any squirrels as noted above – they are squirrels who are very strong in the force. Teeters’ Taxidermy Studio is responsible for this creation, and they operate out of Halifax, Pennsylvania. Something tells me they have other creations from out of this world as well.

I don’t know what goes into a taxidermy setting up a display but Teeters’ clearly went above and beyond the call of duty with this piece. Unfortunately, the Jedi Squirrels will cost you $600 on top of shipping and handling, which is still a lot of money to pay for a couple of dead squirrels – even if they are adorned in Jedi robes and equipped with lightsabers which actually light up.
