Music makes the world go round, and if you don’t believe that, just take a look at the countless music apps out there. Every brand has to have their own, and no wonder: people keep using them and spending money on them! I don’t know about you, but I can’t imagine a day go by without music.
And when it comes to music services, phone apps are one of the most important things these days. Nokia, as much as it has been floundering, is not going to be left behind in terms of music.
Enter the new Nokia music service, and it’s now rebranded as Nokia Mix Radio.
Nokia users may not have everything Android and iOS users enjoy, but at least they can still enjoy music to their hearts’ content.
Nokia Mix Radio is basically a software upgrade, and it is already available to download.
If you’re not keen on spending money, the updated app allows you to play up to eight hours of music for FREE and OFFLINE. And with no interruptions. With more than 18 million songs available, every kind of preference should be taken care of. Of course, if you want more, you’ll have to shell out a little bit – a mere $3.99 per month.
On the visual side, I have to say that from what I have seen, the app does look good. Additionally, Nokia Mix Radio offers some interesting new features:
- Play Me is a personalized mix inspired by your unique music profile
- Thumbs up / Thumbs down to help refine your music profile
- Share mixes with your friends on Facebook, Twitter or by email and SMS
- New name and a new look to make it even easier to use
Since its release, the app has gotten pretty good ratings. The caveat: it only works with Windows Phone 8. Why don’t you try it out for yourself? Download Mix Radio here.
