Sometimes it’s really nice to get things shipped really quickly from Amazon, especially if they’re items you really need and/or want, like – movies, books, Kindles, groceries, etc. But sometimes, you order things that you don’t really need to be delivered on the double, like bulk food items, random items of clothing, or that awesome lightning deal you just couldn’t pass up. You’ve probably heard it said many times that patience is a virtue and that one day all of your patience would be rewarded. Well, Amazon seems to believe it too, and they’re going to reward Amazon Prime members who are willing to wait a couple of extra days before receiving their orders.

Here’s how it works: if you’re an Amazon Prime member, you usually get most of your items within 2 business days. For a limited time, however, if Prime members choose the “No Rush” shipping option, they’ll receive a $1 Amazon Video credit to their account for every order they place between now and October 31st. You’ll still get all of your items within a week, so it’s not like you’re going to be waiting an awfully long time for them, and you’ll be getting some credit for your favorite shows and movies.

While this is a good deal for those who are willing to wait a little bit, there are some stipulations, and this may be the big one: your free credits cannot be used on any HBO title, which means you’ll have to find another way to watch Game of Thrones and all your other favorite HBO content. But you can use them on most any other title in Amazon’s Instant Video store.
