Microsoft’s event has finally revealed all its secrets surrounding Windows 10; some were expected, while others not so. There is clearly something to appeal to everyone in this major update, whether you are a heavy Internet browser or a gamer. Microsoft’s focus seems to be set on providing cross-platform access to a variety of users and obviously, winning back haters of Windows 8. Have a look through some of the main new features of Windows 10 and decide for yourself whether it will be a success. Perhaps the new HoloLens will grab your attention or the new, confirmed browser Spartan. Whatever the case, Windows’ 10 success will no doubt hinge on whether these new updates, additions and enhancements are enough to entice everyone to use them and put Microsoft’s operating system back on top again. Microsoft is bringing all Xbox One video games from the main console to any Windows 10 device, whether that be a tablet or PC. As long as the devices are connected to the same WiFi network then users will have full access to their Xbox library. In practice that means that if someone is watching TV, then gamers can still play Xbox One video games using another another device. Gamers will no doubt see the appeal in Windows 10, recognizing that Microsoft is trying to make traditional gaming practices more social by providing cross-platform access.
