8 Gadgets You Never Knew You Needed

I absolutely love looking through the online gadget collections, the ones that spout off about the coolest tech gear to hit the market in the next few months. There’s really only one problem with those: if I had an extra $5,000 lying around, I wouldn’t spend it on a set of interchangeable lenses for my two-models-ago iPhone. The money thing is kind of why I’m still using a two-models-ago iPhone.

Okay, I saw this squid-like thing on its Kickstarter campaign, and at the time I thought, "Wow, you've got too much time on your hands, AND some lazy children!" But after actually seeing it in action, I have to say, I'm impressed. Not only is it easy to use and fun, the leftover sticks are recyclable and the balloons themselves are biodegradable! How awesome is that? A normal three-pack makes a total of 100+ water balloons in literally one minute or less, and costs about $17 before shipping.
