Samsung Galaxy Gear Arriving September 4 – Confirmed

We all had a good incling of what might be coming at Samsung’s Unpacked event in Berlin next week, the Galaxy Note 3 being the main one but now thanks to an announcement from a Samsung executive, we all now know that we will definitely be seeing the Galaxy Gear smartwatch.

Lee Young-hee, Vice President of Mobile said in an interview with Korea Times, “We will be introducing a new wearable concept device called Galaxy Gear at our own event in Berlin on September 4.”

We already know that unfortuntately the smartwatch won’t have the flexible display but instead the Galaxy Gear will “Enhance and enrich the current smart mobile experience in many ways.”

Samsung are targeting this new wearable tech to “Young trend setters,” so no doubt the ads will reflect this.

We’ll bring you the latest news once the Galaxy Gear has been released on September 4.
